Blind date!!

It was 5.30 PM, friday and I did not feel like working(as usual) the whole day. But this time I had a reason... Ritika..
Well.. let me first tell you how I got to know this girl.

It was one of those best days in office, when I did not do anything but chatting and Orkutting(Using proxy ofcourse).. Yes!! It was orkut :)
I was browsing through my friend's profile, his friend's profile, and so on..
I liked the painting of "Monalisa" in one of the profiles..

Name of the person: Ritika...Bored!!
About me: Well...
Here for: Friends
Blah.. blah.. blah..

I still dont know what made me send her a friend request. God!! I dont know her.. Nor is her profile extraordinary in any way..
Well.. Interestingly..I think she was really bored.. She accepted my friend request the next day.
After around 2-3 days I gathered the courage to send a scrap to her saying "hi". She responded...Amazing!!
How could things go so well with me?? We scrapped each other for over a month and on one fine day we decided to meet.
And the day had come..Yippeee!!!

Well lets see What all I know of her till now:
1) Her name is Ritika Bored.
2) She looks like Monalisa
3) Single, Bangalore
4) And her phone number.. :) But did not dare to call her till today afternoon to find out from where to pick her up??

I started by 5.45 PM from my office. As I was driving planning about what shall be the topics of discussion.
A cab overtook me from my left side. That really annoyed me. I decided to take my vengeance by overtaking him....
Damn the traffic signal!!! I could not do any more than just murmur some slangs within my mouth.

As was decided, I reached the RMZ Titanium (Opposite Leela Palace) almost on time. Well just 15 minutes late. So what??
I called her up. She said, "I'll be there in 5 mins".
As I was waiting eagerly to see how my first blind date looked like, I saw a girl coming out of the RMZ campus.
She wore a blue jeans and a white shirt. She was hot and sweet. Now dont ask how can a person be hot and sweet at the same time. I donno..
It might sound like some tomato sauce...But that was the perfect way to describe her.
For a moment I even forgot that I was waiting for someone else who will be here shortly.
She was lost in the crowd in the bus stop near by.
Well, now that she is gone.. I resumed my wait for Ritu.

I got a call from her cell. I looked around.. I picked up the call. She asked,"Where are you? I am standing near the bus-stop."
"I am pretty close to the bus-stop. I am sitting on a 'Discover'. Can you see me??", I said.
"Yes.. yes.... I see you".
"Wave your hand then", I said.

Ohh..my God...
I can't believe my luck.. Its the same hot and sweet girl waving at me. (Subah subah kiska muh dekha tha..I must have seen the mirror)
She walked towards me.. I could not stop myself from staring at her.
I was in heaven.....huh.
I regained my senses soon..

"Ritika??", I enquired.
"Veeru?", She asked.
We smiled at each other.
"Hi", I said, "You look great.. Better than the pic in your profile".
She smiled..
"Shall we go" I said as I waited her to tell something good about me. No use!!!

She sat on back of my bike and she brought a whiff of sensuous perfume along.
We started off. We had decided in our talk in the afternoon that we would be going to M.G.Road, CCD.

I had just started to enjoy the ride with a gorgeous girl sitting behind me......Thanks to the traffic on Airport road....
I spotted the cab around 100 meters ahead of me. A spirit of the lost vengeance took over me again...

There were a lot of vehicles between us. All of them could not stop me from taking my revenge.. When I got a gap, I changed the gear and passed the five cars between me and my enemy.
I was just behind my enemy and he was still blocking me. And was driving too slow in that traffic just to block me.
I kept honking at him to show how annoyed I was.
Finally I got a chance to overtake. But there was a tempo traveller coming from the opposite direction (This part of the road did not have any divider).
Big deal... huh..No one can stop me now..

I turned to second and sped to the right and in a span of 3 seconds I was ahead of the cab..
I wonder why the tempo wala was yelling while I was in process of performing this great stunt.
To hell with the tempo wala.. I got my revenge... Now in this thrill of my win I overtook many more vehicles and left my enemy far behind me..

We were almost about to reach M.G. Road when I heard a sweet voice..
Ohh... It was Ritika. I totally forgot..

"Please stop here".

What does she want to do here?? Why is she asking me to stop??
Well I took my vehicle to the left and stopped..
"What is it??", I asked.

"I think I should be going my way." She said.

"What??"..."Why?"

"Its nothing.. I just dont want to go with you."
(*%*&^%* ) "Why..? Whats wrong??"
"Its you..", She said."Your way of driving."
How could she say something stupid like to a winner like me.."What is it with my driving?" I asked.
"Its not just your driving but your attitude.."
"First you say 'nothing'.. then you say 'Its my driving' and now....'MY ATTITUDE'....".
I was still complaining when she called an auto.. How indecent!!

The auto wala halted immediately and she talked to him.. She looked at me for a moment.
I was still staring at her.. Speechless.. some of it is owed to the situation and the rest to her beauty.
"Bye"...She said as she sat in the auto and left.

Immediately after she left I could see the cab crossing me again.. I could feel his filthy smile with in....

I sat on my bike for around 5 minutes trying to figure out what went wrong..
She changed her mind right out of the blue..

I finally figured it out...."IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIGURE OUT WHAT A GIRL WANTS.."...

Well.. That was my first blind date. It could not have been blinder than this..

I never called her again though..
